Get further south in your Thailand tours? It is more amazing than you thought
Imagine that you are preparing your holiday to Thailand, what do you plan for your Thailand tours? Surfing on the internet, reading many guide (yes, of course, they are very useful and informative), you will customize your own itineraries. Do they look like this: arrive in Bangkok, take a full day city tour in Bangkok, transfer to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai to explore two amazing places, then come back to Bangkok before taking a flight to Phuket and spend a few days relaxing in top world beaches? If yes, you are done with exploring the most highlighted places in Thailand. However, as you can see in that itinerary, your Thailand tours will stop at some places such as Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Phang Ngan…and you miss many wonderful places in Southern Thailand. To make your Thailand tours more impressed, you can try to add three places in your plan.
Trang
This southern province is the neighbor of Krabi, Nakhon Sithmarat, Phatthaly anf Satun. It was an import seaport in southern Thailand, utilizing its about 199 kilometers of Amadan shoreline. There are many ways to get there: by bus, by road, by rail and by bus from Bangkok and some main provinces. Trang is undiscovered hideaways with secluded beaches, tropical islands and towering cliffs besides the caves, waterfalls, hot springs and lakes. For your trip in trang, you can visit many old Buddhist temples hidden in caves, Adaman sea and islands, the botanical garden and Wat Tantayapiran Temple.
Songkhla
It is considered as the most beautiful ancient town of all the southern cities. In your Thailand tours, you can get there from Bangkok by direct flight to Hat Yai Airport. It takes about one hour by car to Songkhla. Songkhla is really “ancient” town where you hardly find pizzazz and commerce. However, that makes the town more charmed and peaceful. The top things you can try in this beautiful town include: visiting Mermaid Statue which is not big but has an artificial beauty and is the symbol of Songkhla, climbing Tangkuan hill from which you can enjoy both the sea and lake together, and exploring the Thale Noi Waterbird Park by boat or by bike to experience the fantastic nature.
Hat Yai
Hat Yai is near the Malaysian border, therefore it is very popular destination for Malaysians at the weekend. Hat Yai is the forth largest town in Thailand and known as a travel hub, medical center and shopping heaven. Once steeping at there, you can visit Hat Yai Municipal Park which is perfect place for sunset view, historical researchers and finding peace of mind. Another place you should visit is Namtok Ton Nga Chang, the beautiful waterfall with impressed height.
